Xtardew Valley — Guide

The Ultimate Xtardew Valley Guide: Crops, Mechanics, and Mature Content Walkthrough

Stardew Valley is beloved for its wholesome farming simulator charm. However, the modding community has taken the “Adult Only” label to a new level with Xtardew Valley. This mod transforms Pelican Town into a mature, uncensored sandbox.

Because Xtardew Valley significantly alters game files and events, it requires specific setup steps to function correctly. xtardew valley guide

  1. Crops: Cranberries are the gold standard. Pumpkins are also highly valuable, especially if you get a "Giant Pumpkin" (plant 3x3 grid).
  2. Preserves Jars / Kegs: By now, you should have a Preserves Jar. Turning crops into Jelly or Wine multiplies their value significantly.
  3. Rare Seed: Buy a Rare Seed from the Traveling Cart (Sundays/Fridays south of farm). Plant it ASAP for a Sweet Gem Berry (gift it to the statue in the woods for a Stardrop).
  4. Fair Preparation: The Stardew Valley Fair happens on Fall 16. Prepare a high-quality display of your 9 best items (Gold Star crops, Artisan goods, Minerals).

Activities:

  • Time Management: The mines are far away. Plan to spend the whole day there. If you pass out at 2:00 AM, you lose 10% of your money (capped at 1,000g).
  • Ladders: Break rocks and defeat monsters to find ladders to the next floor. Every 5 floors, you get an elevator checkpoint.
  • Copper: Once you reach floor 20+, you'll find copper ore. Upgrade your Pickaxe first to make mining faster, then your Axe to chop stumps.
