Introduction to WorkNC
- The Lesson: You are not programming a tool; you are programming a history of material removal. The tutorial teaches that if your stock model is wrong, everything that follows is a lie.
- Click on File > Import and select the CAD file format (e.g., IGES, STEP, or Parasolid).
- Browse to the location of your CAD file and select it.

- Example:
Haas_VF_3axis.macvsHaas_UMC_750_5axis.mac. - Don't guess. If you post 5-axis code using a 3-axis post, you will crash the machine.
- Red lines indicate gaps.
- Green lines indicate good boundaries.
- Click
Auto Healing. WorkNC will stitch gaps and remove duplicate surfaces automatically.
To create paper documentation or "HTML Shop Floor Documentation" in WORKNC, you use the "Creating HTML" function. This feature allows you to generate standardized or user-defined project documentation that can be printed or viewed on the shop floor. Steps to Generate Documentation worknc tutorial
