Overview

VirtualDJ is a DJ software platform used for live mixing, playback, and audio effects. Two relevant audio effects often used in DJing are Echo and Doppler; both alter perceived sound for creative transitions and spatial effects.

Min position (0%): Effect OFF.
Mid position (50%): Dry/Wet at 40%, Pitch shift at 0.5 (subtle movement).
Max position (100%): Dry/Wet at 100%, Pitch shift at 2.0 (full jet flyover).

Dry/Wet Slider: Controls the mix between the original track and the effect, ranging from no feedback to pure feedback looping. Virtual Dj Echo Doppler

Dynamic Movement: It prevents your transitions from sounding static. The pitch shift creates a "whooshing" or "flying" sensation.
Creative Endings: Instead of just fading out, the track sounds like it is traveling away from the listener.
Tension Building: Automapping it to a slider allows you to control the intensity in real-time for maximum impact before the drop.
