1. Remove the bottom cover (10 screws).
2. Near the CMOS battery (yellow circular cell), look for a 2-pin header labeled "PSWD" or "PWD_CLR" .
3. Short these two pins using a metal screwdriver while the laptop is unplugged (no battery, no AC).
4. Hold the short for 10 seconds.
5. Reconnect power and boot. The password should be cleared.
