Step 3: Create a feature

1. Install the Siemens PLM License Server software (included in the download package).
2. Point the license server to the .dat license file provided by Siemens or your reseller.
3. Ensure the ugslmd service is running in the Windows Services menu.

1. From the installer package, run Launch.exe.
2. Click “Install License Server”.
3. Specify the splm_license.lic file (sent by Siemens).
4. Choose a port (default 28000) and server name (should be your PC name).
5. Complete the installation.
