ABOUT THE GAME

MARBLE RUN is a collaborative attempt to build
the longest marble run on earth! There are different
types of bricks available to build tracks with.

Every user-built track that is added to the marble
run increases the total length of the over all track.
With increasing length more and more special bricks
get unlocked to allow you to build even more tracks!

Phase A: Create a Receive Folder

1. Create a new folder on your Desktop (e.g., named "Scans").
2. Right-click the folder > Properties > Sharing tab.
3. Click Advanced Sharing.
4. Check Share this folder.
5. Click Permissions > Add.
6. Type "Everyone" (or the specific username you use to log into Windows) > Check Names > OK.
7. Select the user and check Allow for "Full Control," "Change," and "Read." Click OK.

• The Print Driver: Uses a print language (usually PCL or PostScript). It sends data to the machine.
• The Scanner Driver (TWAIN / WIA): Uses a protocol like SMB (Server Message Block) or FTP. It pulls image data from the scanner glass or ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) to your PC.

• On the touch panel, select “Scan.”
• Select destination: “Scan to Folder,” “Scan to USB,” or “Scan to Email.” For a quick local workflow, choose “Scan to USB” (insert a USB drive) or “Scan to Folder” if your computer/network folder is configured.
• Set file format: PDF (recommended for multi-page) or JPEG (single images).
• Set resolution: 200–300 dpi for text; 300 dpi for mixed text/images; higher if needed.
• Choose color mode: Black & White (text), Grayscale, or Color.
• If scanning double-sided originals via ADF, enable Duplex/2-sided scan.
