  • The Great Caution: This album is famous for a bad vinyl master. The CD is superior. However, there are two major CD pressings.

    1. Buy the CDs: Amazon, Discogs, or used record stores. Discogs note: Look for pressings with matrix numbers ending in "SONOPRESS" or "DADC" for the best dynamic range.
    2. HDtracks / Qobuz: They sell 24-bit FLAC of Fear Inoculum and the 2019 remasters. Warning: The 24-bit version of Ænima is a different master than the original CD. Many fans prefer the original 16-bit CD FLAC rip.
