Tekken | 3 Nvram
1. What is NVRAM in Tekken 3?
NVRAM = Non-Volatile Random Access Memory.
In the context of Tekken 3 (and most arcade/console games of that era), it’s a small save file that stores:
- GameFAQs (saves section)
- The ISO Zone (archives)
- DuckStation forums (shared saves)
Do not panic. This is not a broken ROM. This is an authentic arcade behavior. In a real arcade, if the battery on the NVRAM chip died or the checksum failed, the board would halt and ask the operator to re-initialize the settings. tekken 3 nvram
Resetting arcade NVRAM

mame tekken3 -nvram_directory NUL(Windows) or/dev/null(Linux)
