Creating a private server for Survarium is a massive technical hurdle because: Vostok Games isn't dead

The Pessimist's Case

• Vostok Games isn't dead. They are working on a new game, Pioneer. If they see a private server profiting from their IP, they will sue instantly.
• No packet captures. To build a private server, you need "packet logs" of a legitimate client talking to a legitimate server. Since the official servers run on such low population, capturing a full 10-player match's network traffic is nearly impossible.

Custom Launcher/Patch: A modified .exe or launcher provided by the private server team to redirect your connection from the defunct official servers to the community-hosted ones.
