5) Install the driver

• If .zip: extract to a folder.
• Run the installer (.exe) as Administrator (right-click → Run as administrator).

  1. Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
  2. Look for "Sound, video and game controllers." If the driver is missing, look under "Other devices" with a yellow exclamation mark.
  3. Right-click the audio device > Properties > Details tab.
  4. Under Property, select Hardware Ids.
  5. Look for the value HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0897.
