To activate Tableau without an internet connection, you must manually transfer an activation file between your offline machine and a computer with web access. Activation Policies
- Default offline activation validity: 90 days; configurable up to 365 days.
- Max concurrent offline activations per license: same as online entitlement.
- Deactivation: provide offline deactivation request/response flow to free seats; deactivations also require signed response from licensing portal confirming removal.
- Renewal: pre-expiry re-issue flow identical to activation.
