- Download the Niresh Big Sur DMG from a trusted source (check MD5 hash to avoid corrupted files).
- Write to USB: Use
balenaEtcherorddon Mac/Linux, orRufus(DD mode) on Windows to flash the DMG to a 16GB+ USB drive. - BIOS Settings: Disable Secure Boot, enable CSM (if needed), set boot mode to UEFI, and turn off VT-d (if issues arise).
- Boot from USB: Select the USB drive from your BIOS boot menu.
- Follow Installer: Use Disk Utility to format target drive as APFS (GUID) , then install macOS Big Sur.
- Post-Install: Run the included “Niresh Post-Install Tool” to configure bootloader, audio, and network.
