Niresh Big — Sur Dmg

Disclaimer: Niresh is a distro (a modified, pre-configured version of macOS) and is not endorsed by Apple. Using it may violate Apple’s EULA, and it often includes third-party tools (bootloaders, kexts) that can pose security risks. Proceed at your own risk.

  1. Download the Niresh Big Sur DMG from a trusted source (check MD5 hash to avoid corrupted files).
  2. Write to USB: Use balenaEtcher or dd on Mac/Linux, or Rufus (DD mode) on Windows to flash the DMG to a 16GB+ USB drive.
  3. BIOS Settings: Disable Secure Boot, enable CSM (if needed), set boot mode to UEFI, and turn off VT-d (if issues arise).
  4. Boot from USB: Select the USB drive from your BIOS boot menu.
  5. Follow Installer: Use Disk Utility to format target drive as APFS (GUID) , then install macOS Big Sur.
  6. Post-Install: Run the included “Niresh Post-Install Tool” to configure bootloader, audio, and network.
