There is nothing quite like assembling a team of Wolverine, Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Captain America to tear through waves of enemies. However, if you are playing the PC version, you have likely encountered a villain more sinister than Dr. Doom: Controller Support Issues.

  • Launch MUA2.
  • Go to Options > Controls.
  • Set "Look Sensitivity" to 70% (Default 50% is sluggish).
  • Set "Deadzone" to 5% (Not 0, or the menus will scroll on their own).
  • Add non-Steam game entry for MUA2.exe.
  • In Steam > Properties > Controller, enable “Force On” or use “Xbox” profile; customize button mapping and test.
  • Use Steam’s “Controller Configuration” to save a profile for local co-op presets.
  1. Download DS4Windows.
  2. Run it, go to Settings → check Hide DS4 Controller (prevents double input).
  3. In Profile → Emulate as Xbox 360.
  4. Launch MUA2. The game will see a standard Xbox controller.

  2. Force V-Sync off in NVIDIA Control Panel / AMD Adrenalin for MUA2.exe.

  4. Set CPU affinity: Launch game → Task Manager → Details → MUA2.exe → Set affinity → Disable CPU 0 (prevents stutter).

Step 1: Disable In-Game Controller Support

  1. Open Steam and go to your Library.
  2. Right-click Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2PropertiesController.
  3. Under “Override for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2,” select Disable Steam Input (temporarily). Close properties.

In the DirectInput tab, check the box for Enable DirectInput.
