San Francisco, CA – Kiteworks, a leader in private content management and data protection, has officially released version 3.0 of its Kiteworks Desktop App. This update marks a significant upgrade for organizations that rely on the Kiteworks platform for secure file sharing, Controlled File Transfer (CFT), and compliance.
Unlike public cloud apps, Kiteworks is deployed via private instances (on-premise, hybrid, or virtual private cloud). Therefore, you cannot download version 3.0 from a public app store. Follow these steps: kiteworks desktop app 3.0 download
If your organization has not yet upgraded to version 3.0, contact your Kiteworks system administrator. They control which client versions are available and must enable the download for users. Kiteworks Launches Desktop App 3
Select the Desktop App: Locate the Kiteworks Desktop App for Windows or macOS and click Download. Therefore, you cannot download version 3
“I lost my sync folders after upgrade”
No data is deleted. Re-link your account in the new app, and your existing local Kiteworks folder will reconnect.
