Jdpaint 5.5 Review
JDPaint 5.5 is a widely used 3D relief design and CNC programming software developed by JD (Beijing Jingdiao). It is particularly popular in the signage, woodworking, and mold-making industries. It acts as a bridge between artistic design (CAD) and manufacturing (CAM).
- Roughing: Removes the bulk of the material. Select the "Roughing" strategy, select your 3D model, and choose a large Flat End Mill.
- Finishing: Smooths the surface. Select "Finishing" strategy, select the model, and choose a Ball Nose bit.
- Profiling (Cutting out): Cuts the part out of the stock. Select "Profile" strategy, select the outline vector, and choose a cutting bit.
