Keyboard & Mouse: Drastically improved over the original. Aiming weapons now feels almost modern. Driving still feels digital (on/off steering), so a controller is recommended.
Radar & Map: The zoomable, HD map is a godsend. No more squinting at a 2D blur.
Mission Checkpoints: Added after many original mission failures (e.g., “The Driver,” “Demolition Man”). This reduces rage-quits significantly.
Missing PC Features: No ultrawide (21:9) cutscene support (black bars appear), no FOV slider, and some original radio songs were removed (licensing). The classic “pausing to skip mission” exploit is also patched.
