2. Disable Cloud Saves (Temporarily)

Steam Cloud Saves are great, but they can restore old DLC dependencies. If you frequently switch between a desktop and a laptop that lacks certain DLCs:

  • Go to your Library.
  • Right-click Euro Truck Simulator 2 > Properties.
  • Click Installed Files.
  • Click Verify integrity of game files.

If you cannot re-enable the missing content, you may need to load an older save

  • Temporarily disable all mods (use the mod manager in the game or move the mod files from Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod).
  • Launch the game without any Steam launch options that might alter file paths.
