Phase 2: The Flashing Process

  1. Copy the .bin file to the root directory of the microSD card (not inside any folders).
  2. Power off your DSO2512G completely.
  3. Insert the microSD card into the DSO2512G’s slot (located under the rubber flap, usually on the right side).
  4. Press and hold the "Wave Gen" button (the sine wave icon) while pressing the power button. Note: Some versions use "Hold SEL" or "Hold F1". Check the readme.txt included with your firmware.
  5. The screen should show a progress bar or "Updating..." Do not touch any buttons.
  6. Wait 1–2 minutes. The device will either reboot automatically or display "Update Complete".
