Jr Programmer V2 Install: Drivers

Driver Installation and Configuration for the JR Programmer V2: A Technical Guide

1. Download Zadig from the official website (zadig.akeo.ie). Get the latest version.
2. Plug in your JR Programmer V2 using the USB-Mini cable. Do not launch any software yet.
3. Open Device Manager (right-click Start button > Device Manager).
4. Look for your JR Programmer V2. It may appear as:

   Error 2: Zadig shows “Driver Installation: FAILED (Resource already used)”

   Solution: Another driver is holding the device. Unplug the JR V2. Open Device Manager, go to View > Show hidden devices. Right-click any grayed-out entries related to USB serial or JR Programmer and select Uninstall device. Then restart your PC and reattempt the Zadig installation.
