Mount the ISO (Windows 10/11 double-click or use PowerISO).
Run setup.exe. Choose your language (English recommended).
Select install directory. Avoid C:\Program Files to prevent Administrator permission issues. Use C:\Games\DMC5.
Check "Copy CODEX contents" – This is critical. It installs the crack.
Installation time: ~15 minutes on an SSD, 30+ on HDD.
Block the game via Firewall: Navigate to Windows Defender Firewall > Outbound Rules > New Rule > Program > DMC5.exe > Block the connection. This prevents the crack from attempting to phone home to Capcom (resulting in a crash).
Modding (Optional): Download the "DMC5 Turbo Mod" from Nexus Mods. Drop the ~mods folder into DMC5\mods.
Launch: Run DMC5.exe as Administrator.
