Check Lexar Serial Number
To check a Lexar serial number, you can look for an anti-counterfeiting label on the original packaging or a laser-etched code on the hardware itself. How to Verify a Lexar Serial Number

- On the Product Label (The Card itself): Turn your SD card or USB drive over. Look for a tiny barcode. Directly above or below it, you will see a string of letters and numbers. Important: This is often not the "P/N" (Part Number). You are looking for the "S/N" (Serial Number).
- On the Retail Box: If you kept the clamshell packaging, the S/N is usually printed on a sticker near the UPC barcode.
- On the USB Connector: For Lexar USB flash drives, the serial number is sometimes laser-etched faintly on the metal connector housing.
Step 3: Interpret the Results
- Valid / Under Warranty: You’ll see the product model, purchase date (if registered), and remaining warranty period.
- Invalid / Not Found: Double-check the serial number for typos. If it still fails, the product may be counterfeit, an older model no longer in the system, or purchased from an unauthorized reseller.
- Already Registered: If you bought a used product, the serial may show as registered to another user. You’ll need to contact Lexar support to transfer ownership.
