Instead, this paper argues that the 2357 error is a ghost in the protocol: a visible fragment of a failed cryptographic handshake between legacy Asus servers and modern Windows systems. It represents the decay of digital infrastructure, where a missing license agreement file creates a paradox that halts a download entirely.
