2.1 If using DVD: insert it and open the DVD root in File Explorer.
2.2 If using downloaded files: extract the archive to a local folder (right-click → Extract All).
2.3 Locate the primary setup executable, typically named Setup.exe or Install.exe.
2.4 Have your serial number, license file, or dongle at hand.
Download 4gb_patch.exe (a free tool).
Run it as admin, select ArtCAM.exe.
The patch flags the executable as LAA (Large Address Aware). Now ArtCAM can use up to 3.5 GB on 64-bit Windows.
Post-Installation: If your version requires a specific executable patch, copy the provided ArtCAMPro.exe and associated .dll files to the Exec folder within the installation directory (usually C:\Program Files\ArtCAM Pro 9\Exec).
