Adobe Captivate Portable: An Overview

Adobe Captivate Portable refers to a modified, unofficial version of Adobe Captivate designed to run without requiring a traditional installation process. In the software world, "portable" applications are modified to execute directly from a folder, a USB drive, or an external hard drive, leaving minimal footprint on the host computer’s registry.

The Process:

  • Solution: Before leaving Computer A, manually "Deactivate" the license via Help > Deactivate. When you plug into Computer B, reactivate. You can do this 3-5 times per month safely.
